Questions

The fine print, in plain English.

What counts as a "question" on the Bronze plan?
A single thread — one situation, one back-and-forth, up to two follow-ups within 48 hours. If your question turns into a whole project (a handbook, an investigation, a termination conversation we're prepping for), I'll let you know up front and we'll handle that as separate project work at your 15% member discount.
How do you track the "60 minutes per month" on Silver?
Live phone calls only — texts and emails don't count against your minute bank. Calls are typically 15–30 minutes, and I'll always tell you when we're 5 minutes from your cap so you can decide whether to keep going at my project rate.
Do unused minutes or questions roll over?
No. Each month resets fresh. The retainer is designed so that you call when you need to — not so you feel like you "have to use it up." Most months are quiet; the month you really need me is what you're paying for.
What if I have a true emergency outside business hours?
Silver and Gold members can text me anytime. I respond when I can — typically same-day, even on weekends. Gold members get my direct mobile line and priority response. Bronze members are welcome to text, but I'll respond on the next business day.
What's NOT included in the plans?
Document drafting from scratch (handbooks, contracts, policies), full workplace investigations, terminations I attend in person, executive recruiting, and group trainings are all project work — quoted separately. Retainer members get 15% off all project work and priority scheduling.
Can I switch tiers later?
Anytime. Upgrade and the difference is prorated to your current billing cycle. Downgrade and the new rate kicks in next month. No questions asked.
How does billing work?
Secure recurring billing through Stripe. Your card is charged on the same date each month. You can cancel or update payment info anytime from the receipt you'll receive after signing up.
Do you offer an annual discount?
Yes — pay for 11 months upfront and the 12th is free. Just tell me at signup and I'll send you the annual invoice instead.
