Founder & CEO, The Dawson Group

Wendy Davis Dawson has spent most of her life as a business owner, so she knows firsthand that a company is only as strong as the people behind it. As the Founder & CEO of The Dawson Group, she works with business leaders who truly value their employees and want to build workplaces where both the business and its people can succeed together.

After more than a decade in senior leadership roles across different industries, Wendy saw a real need for hands-on HR support that actually makes sense for business owners. That’s why she started The Dawson Group—to help entrepreneurs and companies figure out what they need, put the right plans in place, and build teams that stick around and thrive. Whether it’s refining hiring practices, coaching leaders, improving retention, or creating smoother operations, she helps businesses cut through the noise and focus on what really works.

Wendy has worked with businesses of all sizes—from startups trying to get off the ground to multinational companies managing complex teams—but her approach is always the same: practical, strategic, and people-first. She’s especially skilled at helping leaders see the bigger picture, coaching teams, and making HR feel less like a headache and more like a tool for success.

Outside of work, Wendy is a dedicated college football fan, an aspiring world traveler, and a proud grandmother of 10—a role she considers her greatest joy.

With extensive experience in HR, operations, and strategic leadership, Monika works directly with clients to solve complex challenges while also leading The Dawson Group’s internal operational excellence. She is passionate about improving efficiencies, navigating obstacles, and building workplaces where both businesses and people thrive.

At the center of Monika’s work is a belief in collaboration, clarity, and accountability. She is dedicated to creating meaningful, sustainable impact—ensuring companies grow through empowered teams and clear direction.

Lindsay Hughes

Payroll and Benefits Specialist

With a strong background spanning Payroll, HR, Accounting, and Customer Service, Lindsay Hughes brings a well-rounded skill set rooted in both precision and people. She’s not just focused on processes—she cares deeply about the people behind them. Lindsay’s approach blends operational excellence with a genuine commitment to employee experience, helping teams feel supported while keeping the business running smoothly.

Known for being both reliable and approachable, Lindsay builds trust easily and takes pride in being the person others count on. Her experience spans organizational design, process optimization, talent strategy, and leadership development, where she has successfully advised executives and teams across industries. Known for her collaborative approach, Kai empowers clients to create workplaces that are both efficient and human-focused.

Human Resources Consultant

Britney Ellett is an experienced Organizational Development and Human Resources professional dedicated to helping people and organizations grow together. With a background that spans talent development, leadership coaching, recruiting, and employee engagement, Britney brings both strategy and heart to every role she steps into.

Currently serving as a Human Resources Consultant with The Dawson Group HR Consulting and Human Resources Manager at Friddle’s Orthopedic Appliances, Britney partners with leaders to build strong, connected teams and thriving workplace cultures. Her expertise includes designing and implementing training programs, developing emerging leaders, and creating organizational systems that transform chaos into clarity.

Throughout her career, Britney has been passionate about uniting company goals with employee needs. She believes that people do their best work when they feel seen, supported, and challenged to grow. Whether she’s creating a training plan, leading a class, or coaching a leader through change, Britney’s approach is hands-on, empathetic, and results-driven.
